Wife Jan got back from Burning Man on Monday. She broke her arm while she was there and I have spent much of the week “doing for her”—tying shoes, driving, etc. Getting the pictures she took on her trip has not been a top priority. Jan did get pictures of some of the dishes, before they were gobbled down. I had made enough of each dish that her group could gift the remaining mixes to the camps around them.
While Karl’s Saag Pilau for Burning Man was apparently incredibly popular, the campers were all so hungry—when it was ready to eat—that no one thought to take a picture. I also gave them a packet of Karl’s Moorish Spice Blend to put on some steak, but again no pictures were taken. I had given the Burners a large packet of two spice blends and since they used only a small portion of each the other camps around then benefited from the extra.

The Jabberwocky Stew looks very cool, but maybe more to watch than to eat. Don’t know.
Thank you, I guess. Backhanded compliment, much?
I”m sorry. That was stupid of me. Very thoughtless. I really am sorry.
