I thought I would change up the seasoning for my fish tacos. I found some guajillo ground chili. I added that to the mix as well as some coriander seeds. I also decided to eliminate the non-Mexican Indian chili powder.
Note: If you are a Vegan this would go well on grilled tofu or tempe.
Karl’s Veracruz-style Fish Taco Spice Blend II
Ingredients
1 Tbs. ancho chili power
1 Tbs. guajillo chili power
4 tsp. Mexican oregano, rubbed
4 tsp. cumin, ground
2 tsp. coriander seeds
2 tsp. Kosher salt
1 tsp. sugar
Directions
1. Put all of the spices into a spice grinder (a coffee grinder dedicated to spices) and process them to a course powder.
